Okay,So heres the story. My mom and her friend, Evelyn, are interior designers. And there designing my aunts enormous house about an hour away from ours. So, I woke up at six o'clock to get ready for school. I was eating breakfast when my mom said "pack your bags. Were going on a road trip"I decided that I should do so.
We got to her house, and it's the most beautiful thing in the world!!!!!! The first level is totally normal. But then the basement, oh the basement! The basement is a whole different country! It's themed like Paris, France. It has a fancy vintage movie theater that has 2 rows of seats and a popcorn machine. (we watched Disney movies in there) They have my aunt's office which says "The queen's quarters" in French above the door. The bathroom is SWEET! It is themed like a subway in French. It has French grafitti on the walls.
Well, Evelyn brought her daughter, Emilia. So Emilia and I played "house" in there. Then, my perfect day began. We set off to find a pumpkin patch. Yay! Adventure! Well, we found a barn on the way, thinking it was a pumpkin patch. But it was still fun! We saw the goats first, and then the horses. I love horses! But I'm scared to death of riding them. Well there was one group of brown horses, and then a white and brown horse that was getting no attention what-so-ever. I obviously went up to that one. But then I noticed something when i swept my hand over his nose. He had one chocolate brown eye that was looking at me. But then he had another eye that was light blue and blood shot around it. He was blind in that one. Then I did the weirdest thing. I didn't even think twice about it. I sang a line of "21 guns" by Greenday.
"does the pain weigh out the pride, and you look for a place to hide?" I kissed the horse on the nose and we left. I named him The Blind Side.
We drove around some more, with the windows down, singing along to happy songs, and getting lost trying to find a pumpkin patch. We drove up someone's drive way when we tried to find it. There was a grave yard on one side of the drive way, and an abandoned church on the other. Ooooh spooky! And to make it better, there was a broken window, an old van in back, and caution tape in front. I picked up my phone and called my cousin, Sam. Sam is a director, and loves to make horror movies.
Then we went finally found the pumpkin patch!! We got lost in a corn maze, and got some pumpkins and corn stalks to decorate the front of the house. But then Emilia and I wanted to go on a hay ride. But they didnt have one! So we made a home made one. We put the cornstalks in the car, and put down the windows and listened to country music.
